We Trained the Volunteers! 09/18/2009
On Monday, September 14, over 60 Extreme Green Neighborhood Makeover volunteers joined us at the MLK library to get prepped for their work on our participating homes. The volunteers were divided into groups and assigned to a volunteer coordinator who is helping us keep track of our makeovers. We learned how to compare energy bills using Energy Star's home energy yardstick, we learned how to caulk & weatherize from the District Department of the Environment and we got special Makeover t-shirts to wear on work days!
